Tarlant Champagne is a family owned growers estate dating back from 1687. Current generation brother and sister Benoît and Melanie Tarlant are converting the estate in to organic culture. Grape variety and soil: 32% Chardonnay, 32% Pinot Noir and 32% Pinot Meunier et 4% Petit Meslier, Arbanne, Pinot Blanc. Soil: Craie, Sparnacien, sandy soils and chalk from the Lutétienne era
Taste: Great and very pure bone dry Champagne, very fine bubbles with notes of brioche, lemon zest, white fruits, mineral and salty, fine, complex long and elegant
Wine pairing: Aperitif, oysters, fish, white meats like a good farmer chicken and to celebrate
Serving Temperature: 11-14 c , glass type, Champagne flute or white wine glass. Still very young so let it breath in your glass or decant. Drink now until 2028+
Vinification: Natural vinification with local yeasts, dosage < 0 gram. no malolactic ferrmentation and a very long maturation, 72 months”sur lattes” on it’s fine lie regorged summer 2019. Alcohol content 12% low in SO2< 40mg total
