Madame Francoise Bouché from Château Champarel makes on the highest point and the best terroir of Pécharmant one of the best wines from the Bergerac. With more than 50 years of experience the wines are better than ever, think of a Pomerol or very fine Saint-Emilion

Region: Sud-Ouest, Bergerac, AOC Pécharmant

Millésime: 2015/2016 soon

Grape variety and soil: 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc Soil, Argilo Calcaire, layer on limestone rock

Taste: Deep red fruits like blue and black berries, plums, very complex and layered with the right touch of oak very well integrated. Rich and full body and good freshness, fine strong tannins, long after taste

Wine pairing: Duck, confits or breasts other red meats, game and hard cheeses

Serving Temperature: 16-17 c, big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Open 4 hours in advance or decant before serving aging potential: 10+ years 2015 best drunk before 2030/2035, 2016 before 2031

Vinification: Natural vinification with local yeasts on 1/3 new oak barrels and 2/3 (2-6 years) for 18-24 months according vintage in a real cellar, and aging on the bottle 2-3 years low in SO2 <70mg total, alcohol content: 14,5%
