Camille and Mathias Marquet of Château Lestignac are the wizards of the Bergerac region! Working already for more than 10 year Biodynamic, with 100% natural vinification, 100% expression of the terroir and an almost Burgundy style in taste, juicy, powerful and mineral. They are not afraid to experiment.

Grape variety and soil: 100% Cabernet Franc old vines, Brown and blue marl of 30 cm on limestone rock.
Taste: Big red wine! Deep powerful and rich with lots of black fruit, great balance and mineralty, very long aftertaste with great structured ripe tannin
Wine pairing: fine red meat, stews, lamb, game and duck, ripe cheeses rich and gastronomical cuisine
Serving Temperature: 16-18 c , big sized red wine glass. Open 2 hours in advance and decant before serving. drink now or keep untill 2030 (cool cellar)
Vinification: Natural vinification on concrete, riping on it’s fine lies for 24 months in used barriques of 225 l, not filtered or fined, very low amont of sulphites added SO2 total<25mg Alcohol content: 13,5%
Culture: Natural and Biodynamic, no certification
