Didier Michaud owner of Château Planquette makes this this rare natural wine from Bordeaux on the same terroir as in Saint Esthepe and in the same quality as a lot of Grands Crus Classés, Still young so patience will be rewarded, keep it in your cellar or drink now decanted a few hours before serving

Millésime: 2017 only (7000) bottles produced, soon 2018 (February, March) and 2018 will be the last vintage by Didier Michaud! onfortunately because health reasons he has to stop his activities, we wish him all the best to get better.
Grape variety and soil: 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, 4 % Petit Verdot 1,7 hectares in total Soil, clay sand and gravels from the Medoc
Taste: Still very young! Red fruits like cassis and black berries complex and layered, great balance and well integrated oak nice body and freshness, elegant and fine high quality tannin’s, long after taste
Wine pairing: Red meats, game, stews, duck
Serving Temperature: 16 -17c, medium or big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Open several hours in advance and decant in a caraf, Drink now untill 2027+
Vinification: Natural vinification. Maturation on oak barrels for 12 or 24 months depending on the Vintage, local yeasts No sulfites added, and almost no sulfite total, 2017 1mg/l total alcohol content 13,5%

Mentioned in the Glou Guide as a Grand Cru Classé but than natural, and like George Clooney, but only for drinking.
