In March 2000, the family Sroka left Alsace for the Dordogne. In their luggage, a dream: to become winegrowers in organic farming. So was born Clos Julien: a small farm of barely 3 hectares. A job ? No better than that, a passion shared as a family. Everyone participates according to their skills and availability.

Region: AOC Bergerac

Grape variety and soil: 40% Merlot, 60% Cabernet Franc Soil: Sandy soil with pebbles

Taste: Ripe red fruit, round, well balanced and complex. With a nice structure of nice tannins and length.

Wine pairing: Red meats, BBQ, cheeses

Serving Temperature: 16-17°C, big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Open 1 hours in advance or decant before serving or keep until 2026

Vinification: Natural vinification with local yeasts on stainless steel between 6-12 months. Aging on the bottle 2 years. Alcohol content: 13,5%, SO2 <70mg total
