Description
In March 2000, the family Sroka left Alsace for the Dordogne. In their luggage, a dream: to become winegrowers in organic farming. So was born Clos Julien: a small farm of barely 3 hectares. A job ? No better than that, a passion shared as a family. Everyone participates according to their skills and availability.

Grape variety and soil: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot Soil: Sandy soil with pebbles
Taste: Ripe red fruit, round powerful, well balanced and complex. With a nice touch of the maturation on the oak barrel, great structure of fine powerful tannins and long after taste
Wine pairing: Red meats, game, duck breast and confits, ripe cheeses
Serving Temperature: 16-17°C, big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Ready to drink but open 1 hours in advance or decant before serving or keep until 2028+
Vinification: Natural vinification with local yeasts on stainless steel between and matured on a 600 liter oak barrel for 18 months. Aging on the bottle 2 years. Alcohol content: 14,5%, SO2 <70mg total
