Description

Julien et Sophie Ilbert from Combel la Serre are operating this quality estate of 22 hectares from Cahors with a lot of precision and love, very regular quality!

Region: Sud-Ouest, IGP Côtes du Lot, Cahors

Grape variety and soil: 100% Vermentino (rolle) Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with Limestone)

Taste: A fresh and crisp white wine, grapefruit and peaches, some almond flowers, fresh herbs like parsley and flinty stones, nice elegant body and a fine accidity with a long mineral aftertaste

Wine pairing: aperitif, salads and asparagus, fine vegetarian cuisine, fine fish dishes and fish from the grill

Serving Temperature: 11-12 c, medium or big sized white wine glass. drink now or keep untill 2028

Vinification: Natural vinification soft extraction on concrete tanks on low temperature, maturation on it’s lie (sediment), local yeasts. Alcohol content: 12,5% low in sulphite <60mg/l
