Description
Danis Dans les Vignes, the former Domaine l’Antenet was established in 1983 as the grand-father and father of Danis Bessières moved away from the cooperative to become the first organic estate of the Cahors Appellation. His family has always been working with wild yeast, with a slight addition of sulphur at bottling (about 10 mg). Later on in 2002 Danis father decided to completely stop the use of sulphur before bottling. Danis is very excited to follow their footsteps after his father’s retirement in 2022.

Grape variety and soil: Cabernet Sauvignon and Ségalin (hybrid) Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with Limestone)
Taste: A lot of black fruits like blackberries, pure and natural, vicious and caracter, nice acidity, length and fine tannin structure
Wine pairing: Red meats, barbecue with friends, pizza, duck legs and breasts, cheeses
Serving Temperature: 16°C, medium or big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Open 2 hours in advance, drink now or keep untill 2026
Vinification: Natural vinification with local yeasts in various tanks and vats, maturation for 6-8 months. Alcohol content: 12%, no sulfite added SO2 total<20mg
