Jean Baptiste Roux from Pomport “Bergerac” is a young very talented producer who learned to make wine from Mathias and Camille Marquet Château Lestignac and is a close friend of Benoit Perissé of Fontaine de Grives. all his wines are organic, biodynamic and natural and very precisely made, low quantities, only great stuff here

Region: Vin de France, Bergerac

Grape variety and soil: 100% Sémillion Soil: Argilo calcaire with limestone bedrock

Taste: Riche and powerful white wine. Great juice, complex, yellow fruits, hazelnuts. Oak well integrated.

Wine pairing: Foie Gras, white meat, fish in sauce and cheeses

Serving Temperature: 12-14°C, big sized white wine glass type Bourgogne. Open in advance or decant before drinking, drink now or keep untill 2028

Vinification: Natural vinification local yeast’s on concrete and stainless steel, riping on used oak barrels for 12-18 months. Not filtered or fined, no sulfites added. Alcohol content: 14% SO2 total<25mg
