Julien and Sophie Ilbert from Domaine Combel la Serre are managing this quality estate of 22 acres from Cahors with a lot of precision and love, very high regular quality!

Region: Sud-Ouest, IGP Côtes du Lot, Cahors

Millésime: 2019

Grape variety and soil: 100% Vermentino (rolle) Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with Limestone)

Taste: Fine and complex with a rich and velvety texture, some tropical fruit like pineapple andblood orange, a nice freshness and length with some noble bitterness

Wine pairing: fish, poultry and white meats, nice with a rich couscous of chicken, also some fine cheeses

Serving Temperature: 10-12 c, medium to big sized white wine glass. drink now or keep untill 2026

Vinification: Natural vinification, soaking the grapes on their skins for one week, soft pressing and fermentation on 600 liter oak barrels, maturation on it’s “lie” (sediments)  for 12 months, local yeasts low in sulphite <70mg/l  alcohol content: 12,5%

Culture: Organic (2008), label AB (2014)
