Jean Baptiste Roux from Pomport “Bergerac” is a young very talented producer who learned to make wine from Mathias and Camille Marquet Château Lestignac and is a close friend of Benoit Perissé of Fontaine de Grives. all his wines are organic, biodynamic and natural and very precisely made, low quantities, only great stuff here,

Grape variety and soil: 50% Merlot 30% Cabernet Franc 20% Cabernet Sauvignon , soil argilo calcaire with limestone bedrock

Taste: Rich and powerful red wine, full of black fruits like cassis, mint, dark cocolat, mocca and tobacco, great balance in acidity, superb powerful tannins and great lenght

Wine pairing: Rich dishes and sauces, red meats, game and venison, ripe cheeses

Serving Temperature: 16-17c , big sized red wine glass type Bordeaux. Open in advance or decant before drinking, drink now or keep untill 2028+

Vinification: Natural vinification local yeast’s on concrete and stainless steel, riping on used oak Barriques for 18 months, not filtered or fined, no sulphites added SO2 total<25mg Alcohol content: 14%
