One of the regional leading wine producers is Christian Roche from Domaine de l’Ancienne Cure represents already the 5th generation of this family estate (from 1935), and produces award winning organic white, red and sweet wines.

Region: Bergerac, AOC Monbazillac

Millésime: 2013 0,5ltr.

Grape variety and soil: 50% Sémillon, 40% Muscadelle 10% Chenin Blanc. Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with Limestone)

Taste: Very complex and full bodied soft and sweet wine, honeyed and candied fruits, great freshness, long and lively aftertaste, juste great!

Wine pairing: Aperitif, foie gras, and desserts (low in sugar) blue cheeses.

Serving Temperature: 10-11 c , medium sized white wine glass, drink now or until 2028+

Vinification: Harvesting the grapes in several stages (tries) maximum of ripeness dried by Botrytis Cinerea, Débourbage (clearing) and fermentation on stainless steel for 20 days, aging on oak barriques for 18-24 months Natural vinification, Alc. 12,5%
