One of the regional leading wine producers of the Bergerac is Christian Roche of Domaine de l’Ancienne Cure, represents already the 5th generation of this family estate (Founded 1935), and produces award winning organic white, red and sweet wines

Region: Vin de France, Bergerac

Millésimé: Vin de France so no vintage mentioned but harvest is 2020

Grape variety and soil: 70% Chenin Blanc 30% Sauvignon Gris Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with limestone)

Taste: fine and pure and a lot of sweet ripe fruit like pears and apples, blossoms, but also some bite and a noble bitters in the after taste

Wine pairing: Aperitif, white meats, chicken, every occassion

Serving Temperature: 10 c, medium sized white wine glass or champagne flûte, drink now untill 2023
