Julien Auroux from Domaine Julien Auroux is a young wine producer (7th Generation) based in the little village of Boisse in the most eastern part of the Bergerac region. He is working very precise and experiments a lot to improve his wines every year. His relative cool terroir rich in limestone is one of the best from this region and produces elegant and mineral wines.

Grape variety and soil: 100% Merlot 40 Hl/ha Soil, Argilo Calcaire (Clay with Limestone)

Taste: Very juicy wine with a lot of ripe red fruits, freshness and complexity no tannins

Wine pairing: Your daily red wine, pizza, pasta, barbecue or just with friends etc.

Serving Temperature: 16 c, medium sized red wine glass, drink now and young keep untill 2022

Vinification: Natural vinification, short maceration 10 days, and maturation for 5 months in stainless steel and polyester tanks, not filtred or fined no sulphites added SO2 total<20 mg alcohol content 14,5%
