Wine tasting
Our wine tastings are a great way to learn about the world of wine in a relaxed atmosphere, either at your place or at ours. With our many years of experience in the wine business, we really enjoy sharing our passion and knowledge with you. We can adapt the wine tastings to suit everyone, from beginners to those who are already wine connoisseurs.
During our standard wine tasting we have various Organic, Biodynamic and Natural wines from our wine assortment. These come from Bergerac, our local region, from producers in the Southwest from other regions of France. Together we discover the taste of the wines and you will be given an explanation of how you can’t taste wine. After that we’ll talk about the wines, grape varieties and the regions where they come from and the working methods of the wine producer.
The tasting is supplemented with matching tapas with each wine.

During the tasting 5 wines are served with 5 tapas which go excellent with the wines.
The tasting takes approximately 2,5 hours and is held at your or our location.
All wines are Organic, Biodynamic and Natural.
The ingredients for the tapas are for 90% organic and from local producers.

Tim and Fredricke, Trois Mets et Vins, catered two dinners for a group of eight people. The first dinner was for the evening we arrived after a long day of travel for us: a delicious light meal of quiches, bread and salads was waiting for us. We didn't know exactly when we were arriving so this was great for us. Trois Mets et Vins also catered a second dinner for us after we spent another long day touring: this dinner was a spectacular assortment of local dishes and paired wines: garlic soup, various appetizers, duck breast and delightful deserts. The wines were great. and All this was served to us personally with a pride and panache. These meals were highlights of our stay in the Dordogne.

There were as many as 17 of us from all over the United States, six in the Périgord for the first time and two visiting from Holland. A comment I heard from many was their appreciation for the consideration you gave to introducing them to Périgordian cuisine, and to those of us familiar with it, you provided the very finest examples.
