Former rugby player Jean Marc Grussaute from Camin Larredya is maybe the best vinter of the South West of France. Started in 1988 on his family Domaine and makes now the most excellent and legendary dry and sweet white wines you can imagine.

Grape variety and soil: 100%Petit Manseng late harvested by hand Soil, Lower hills of the Pyrénées. Soils argilo-siliceux on a bedrock of “poudingues altérés”

Taste: Rich, round, creamy with a fine sweetness build arround a suberb acidity, pure and lingering, al about complexity. Fruits like pineapple, mango, apricots, floral (safron) and minerals even some tannins, very very long aftertaste. The best of the South West

Wine pairing: Meditation wine, Aperitif, foie gras, brebis and roquefort cheese, roasted chicken, asian spiced kitchen

Serving Temperature: 10-11ou + c , medium to big sized white wine glass. drink now untill 2037+

Vinification: Soft whole bunch pressing, fermentation with local yeasts on barrels of 225 L. (5% new) and vats of 1 200 à 2500 L. temperature controlled Riped for 12+ months on his fine lies (sediment) low in SO2 <70 mg alcohol content 14%
