Francois Laborie started the Domaine les 3 Saules in 2015 near the Village of Villefranche de Lonchat at the most western part of de Bergerac region. After a lot of experience in the Wine Industry in France and abroad he settled here in his home region. His approach for the future is working as natural as possible and according biodynamic regulations for producing, pure and drinkable wine, with the best expression of their great terroir (almost the same as de plateau of Saint Emilion)
Region: Vin de France, Bergerac
Grape variety and soil: 100% Cabernet Franc. Soil: argilo calcaire with fossilised limestone bedrock
Taste: Fresh, dry but soft and pure, very fine bubbles, raspberries and citrus, quit a mineral aftertaste. Not filtered so a little bit cloudy
Wine pairing: Aperitif, with friends, all occasions,
Serving Temperature: 10°C, medium sized white wine glass or Champagne flûte. Drink now or keep untill 2024-2026
Vinification: Natural vinification, local yeast’s on concrete and stainless steel, Ancestral method with degorgement and racking for 6 months.Not filtered or fined. No sulfites added. Alcohol content: 12% SO2 total<30mg
