Passionate Dominique Andiran from Chai Haut Campagnau is a former ski and sailing instructor, but is now already a long time (first vintage 2001) one of the best “self learned” natural vinters of the South-West of France. Installed in the very nice town Montréal de Gers in the heart of the Armagnac region. He likes to experiment with different styles of great wines. He is a master in creating Vin Jaune like complex oxidative wines with enormous length like the Pissenlits made of Chardonnay

Region: Gers Armagnac, Vin de France

Grape variety and soil: 100% Colombard. 0202 = 2020 (Because it’s not allowed to put the vintage on the label of a Vin de France) Soil: Argilo calcaire, brown soils and pebbles

Taste: Starts with a little bit of carbonic gaz “and reductive” but aerated it will leave a juicy and fresh wine with good concentration and acidity. Very pure and very alive, yellow plums and lemon, mineral, salty and layered. Just very very good

Wine pairing: Aperitif with friends, salads with goat cheese, shellfish and grilled fish dishes also smoked trout, chicken and poultry,

Serving Temperature: 10-12°C , medium sized white wine glass. Open in advance or decant before drinking, drink now or keep untill 2025

Vinification: Natural vinification local yeast’s on concrete and stainless steel, not filtered or fined, no sulfites added. Alcohol content: 14% SO2 total<25mg
